FROM THE BAY AREA:

Take I -80 toward Sacramento, Turn North on 505 at the Nut Tree, go 26 miles to Woodland turnoff.  Take Hwy 16 turnoff, go east 3.5 miles to Road 94B (there is a sign that says Woodland Airport), turn left and stay left through one set of stop signs and over a bridge, turn left on first street which is Road 20 (there is a large sign for WSS), go 400' and entrance is on the right.

SOUTH FROM REDDING on I -5:

Take 505 south to Woodland, Hwy 16 off ramp, go across freeway and follow above

FROM SACRAMENTO: 

Take I -5 North past downtown Woodland exits to Hwy 16 West - Esparto, go back across the freeway three miles to first stop light, turn right on Hwy 16, go 3+ miles, Hwy 16 makes a slight left turn, DO NOT TURN, go straight on Road 22 (it is marked) about a mile to dead end, turn right, go across the bridge, take first left which is Road 20, about 400 yards on right.

DOG POLICY

DOGS MUST BE ON LEASH AT ALL TIMES.

$100 Fine for the first offense, a second occurance results in elimination. Please leave barking dogs home. No dogs are allowed in the tent at meal times.

MOTORIZED VEHICLES

Speed Limit:
5 MPH in the barn area
10 MPH on the tracks

Course Walk: The course length is at the high end of the legal allowed distance for each division. The terrain is friendly, with very moderate rolling hills, but it will be a challenge to get to the obstacles to walk them.

Golf Carts, Scooters, Motorized Bicycles, ATV's, Bicycles, Autos, Trucks (not motorcycles!) will be allowed on designated tracks to access the obstacles on Thursday and Friday.

• The speed limits of 5 MPH in the stabling and arena areas, and 10 MPH on the tracks will be stictly enforced.
• Vehicles must stay on the posted tracks and trails and park outside the obstacles.
• Be courteous.
• Horses have the right of way. Stop your vehicle for any riders.
• Plan to carpool to help reduce traffic. A map will be provided.

Any vehicles off the tracks, speeding, or reckless driving will result in elimination.

Only licensed drivers may operate a motorized vehicle on the WSS property. Unlicensed operators will result in competitor elimination.

Golf Carts can be arranged through Nick's Custom Golf Carts, (800)552-0606. Speak to Lisa, tell her it's to go to the Vineyard Classic CDE in Woodland, CA. note: May is a very busy month for golf cart rentals - if you plan to rent one, reserve early to guarantee availability.

Water, Coffee and Tea will be available for all in the Hospitality area.

Thursday Dinner - Pasta Buffet, $15 (Competitor's Briefing)

Friday Dinner - Mexican Buffet, $15

Saturday Dinner - Competitors' Dinner, $30

WEATHER

Northern California in the spring has unpredictable weather. Come prepared for everything from 40 degrees to 90 degrees, with rain, sun or hail - occasionally all in one day! The Head of Jury will determine if rainware is acceptable for dressage and cones. The decision will be announced and posted. We're shooting for lovely warm (but not too hot) weather...
